Do you struggled to keep all of your schedules, forms, games, work commitments, meetings, and all the other things you need to do organized? There was a year when I had 4 kids in 4 different schools, I was working across 5 different school districts, and my husband had several adjunct jobs he was juggling. OMG! I tried binders…they always were too bulky. I tried file folders…the papers always seemed to just fall out. I tried to organize electronically. This worked okay but I never seemed to find a way to easily keep all the forms and activity directions together. It was always hard to check back on the list of games or days of school. What’s a mom and educator to do? I came across this new system somewhat on accident. I was looking to update my binding machine for my classroom books. I wanted to create custom calming books that I could adjust and adapt for each student. This meant adding and taking away pages as they practiced and liked the strategies. I had the traditional binding machine (insert picture) which worked okay. However, this was an absolute pain when you had to change a page or needed to add pages. Plus lining up all those little punches was annoying. So, I was searching for a new way to bind these books. A quick Amazon search came across this desktop binding punch. It was a bit pricey but with the easy returns at Amazon I was willing to give it a try. Let me tell you, this binder system really helped me to organize. Plus, I found other products that made it even better.
